Six more Kobolds & Catacombs cards have been revealed! Here are my detailed thoughts on the cards, including my take on their competitive viability, deck fit, and synergies.

I wonder if Silver Vanguard is natural fit into big priest. It's nice to Barnes, you don't care much for silence since you just revive it anyway, it reduces the chance to summon Barnes with random effects… Seems like it just makes the deck more consistent, even if not better.

spiteful Summoner should be more powerful than you give it credit for, you don't need just have 8-10 mana spells to make it work, it will work in nearly any deck as long as it has some high mana spells. In worst case scenario you will get 4/4 and some 1-2 mana minion for 6 mana, and its "ok", with this bad rng you still get "ok" value. And it scale up from there, with anything above 4 mana being above average and possibility for some crazy game-winning values when you get high cost minion.

I had a thought about the Control Hunter thing that's being pushed, and I've come up with an idea of how it could work.
Elemental Hunter.
You run the good/best elementals that don't have deathrattles
Then you run the Seeping Oozeling, Silver Vanguard, Kathrina Whisperwind, and some big beasts like King Dredd, King Krush, etc.
And of course you'd put in the Deathknight, and MAYBE Umbra.
Fill out the rest of the deck with spells that help take control of the board.
And there you have it. A control Elemental hunter. The only thing it needs at this point is a way to consistently gain health or armor…. and card draw.
I'm sure someone can make a really good deck with this idea when K&C comes out. When that happens, I'd love to know about it. 😮

I just wished that they could make an entire expansion of cards without random effects, cards that do the same thing every time they are played. Not only will the game be more skillful for the person playing the card, but also for the opponent who has to play around it.

You put in Dinosaur egg in your deck as well as the Charged Devilsaur as the only beast. Now add Abominable Bowman, play dead, seeping oozeling and the terrorscale stalker as well as the new legendary that pulls a beast out of your deck. Looks sweet to me.
